How You Can HELP
How You Can HELP
Initial grant funding for the trail was secured in 2004 from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and Transportation Enhancement funds through the Department of Transportation.  Construction began in 2006.

The design and construction costs covered by the grants will only be a portion of the total costs of the trail and its ultimate maintenance.  We hope that you can help make this dream a reality and become a financial supporter of the Bellwood-Antis Trail System.

The projects have been undertaken and funding has been pursued by the Bellwood-Antis Community Trust.  The Trust was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 1997 to enhance the quality of life in the Bellwood-Antis community.  The Trust is the organization currently overseeing the design and construction of the Bells Gap Trail, and is working with consulting engineer Stiffler and McGraw.

You are invited to become a member of the rail trail committee.  If possible, please consider a larger sponsorship support for your family or business.  Like many other trails, we will be offering sponsorship of benches, signs, shelters, historic markers, and other structures on the trail.

To join the Bellwood-Antis Rail Trail Committee, send your name, address, phone number, and email address, along with your check for the level of support you can provide, to:
Bellwood-Antis Community Trust, PO Box 336, Bellwood, PA 16617.

Support levels are:

Individual, $10
Family, $15
Supporting, $50
Group or Organization, $75
Corporate, $150

Thank you for whatever level of support you can provide.
